Introduction:
A thriving developer ecosystem relies on dedicated contributors who serve as the driving force behind innovation, tool construction, and progress. The Starknet Foundation acknowledges the critical role these unsung heroes play and is proud to introduce the Early Community Member Program (ECMP). This structured initiative is designed to champion and support the individuals shaping the trajectory of the Starknet network.

Honoring Contributions:
The ECMP represents a deliberate effort to recognize not just lines of code but every individual who dedicates their heart, skills, and time to contribute to Starknet’s evolution. To underline the foundation’s commitment to honoring and rewarding these significant efforts, 50 million STRK tokens have been earmarked for this initiative.

APPLICATION FORM
Application Period: Starting from October 30, 2023, until November 23, 2023, at 00:00 UTC, the application process for projects will be open. The decision on selected projects will be made by the committee by December 29, 2023.

Scope and Participants:
The ECMP program is primarily seeking individual contributors who go beyond coding to actively engage in community support, knowledge sharing, and enhancing the vibrancy and resourcefulness of the Starknet ecosystem.

Phase 1 Categories:
1. Individuals significantly contributing to technical discourse in the community.
2.ontributors listed by key projects within the ecosystem

3. Organizers of global events (meetups, conferences, workshops).
4. Individuals consistently publishing Starknet-branded content.

Evaluation Criteria:
Submissions will be assessed by the evaluation committee based on four fundamental criteria

1.Reach / Impact: Assessing the spread and influence of the contributor’s work within the community.

2.Importance: Evaluating the significance and influence of their work on the success and development of the ecosystem.

3. Effort: Measuring the time and energy invested, including community support and knowledge sharing.

4.Originality: Recognizing the unique or innovative aspects in their contributions.

Decision-Making Process:

For Projects: Applicants will submit their project applications, detailing all individuals involved using their pseudonyms. Selected projects will be contacted for a private application, listing required details.

For Individuals: Submissions will require details such as Telegram ID, email, and Starknet address. The committee will assess individuals wrho are not part of a project.
